Building Info & Policies


The James Brown Arena provides patrons with access to two (2) ATMs located on the concourse behind the box office and near the 8th street entrance. The Bell Auditorium has one (1) ATM located in the lobby.


Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the James Brown Arena and Bell Auditorium. A designated smoking section is available outside the 8th street entrance doors on the concourse.


All found items are turned into the Security Office. Please call us @ 706.262.4557 if you’re inquiring after the event has ended.


Restrictions on the use of still cameras vary by event. The event promoter or artist dictates whether still cameras are allowed. Please call in advance to get additional camera-policy information prior to a specific show at 706.722.3521. Video and recording equipment of any kind are strictly prohibited.


The following items are prohibited from being brought into the James Brown Arena and Bell Auditorium.

  • Fireworks
  • Illegal drugs
  • Outside food and beverage of any kind
  • Bottles, cans and/or coolers
  • Audio or recording equipment of any kind
  • Laser Pointers, aerosol cans and noise makers
  • Back packs or any other oversized bags

The James Brown Arena and Bell Auditorium are government buildings. Access is controlled by security. Weapons are not permitted in this facility.
You may not carry or possess a weapon in this building. Violation of this prohibition may result in criminal prosecution. See, O.C.G.A § 16 – 11 – 127
